अतिथि सङ्गोष्ठी - GUEST LECTURE(15 Feb-2025)
On 15th February 2025, Dr. D. Koteswara Rao, St. Joseph's college for women(A) delivered a guest lecture on “Indian Knowledge System” at Sri Rajarajeswari Oriental College, Vemulawada, Telangana. The program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Mallareddy. The faculty, students and faculty members participated enthusiastically. In the lecture, I discussed the origins of Indian knowledge, scientificity, educational standards and their modern significance. I explained the importance of Sanskrit texts, Indian trends of thought in mathematics, medicine and philosophy.
अतिथि सङ्गोष्ठी - GUEST LECTURE , 31-08-2023
On August 31, 2023, Andhra University Prof. K. Yedukondalu delivered a guest lecture on the topic “The Greatness of Sanskrit and Its Opportunities” at St. Joseph's College for Women, Visakhapatnam. A large number of second language teachers and students participated in the program. In the lecture, the professor explained the antiquity, scientificity, and cultural importance of the Sanskrit language and highlighted the educational, research, and job opportunities available in this language.
Teachers day Celebrations 05-09-2024
On September 5, 2024, St. Joseph’s College for Women celebrated Teachers’ Day under the auspices of the Management and Student Council. On this occasion, the cultural programs, felicitations and special offerings prepared by the students to show respect for the teachers were impressive. The highlight of this ceremony was the emotional response of the students who felicitated the teachers and expressed their gratitude for their services.
LANGUAGE CENTRE(CLUB)
St. Joseph’s College for Women inaugurated a language Centre (club). The college principal, faculty and students participated enthusiastically in the program. The launch of this club will provide opportunities for students to develop their understanding of different languages and develop their communication skills. It will play an important role in promoting mutual culture and love of literature between languages.
